A Message From Aaron

Our response to the recent tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump.

There’s no easy way to say this. My heart dropped when I heard the news this weekend about the tariffs being implemented by President Trump.

I understand many Americans feel let down by the system and want change. For decades, the North American middle class has felt the pain of corporate greed and the devastating losses from the mass exodus of jobs overseas. Canadians, like myself, have also felt that pain.

That pain led me to build our farm with a different philosophy, prioritizing people, animals, and our planet. Many call this “Conscious Capitalism” or “Capitalism with a Heart.”

I love the United States and its people. We've experienced excellent growth thanks to the strong partnerships we share with American food retailers, distributors, and, of course, the people who rely on our eggs as an affordable source of protein.

Our relationship with the United States is built on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to quality food. The ingredients that go into our eggs, the packaging we use, the relationships we’ve fostered—they cross borders. The food we produce feeds families on all sides. This is not a one-way street; it’s a partnership.

The reality of these tariffs is simple: they will make food more expensive for everyday people. That’s what troubles me the most. As chicken egg prices continue to climb, quail eggs are increasingly becoming one of the most affordable protein sources and a staple in millions of homes.

We are not politicians and are not here to make political statements. We are a growing, family-owned operation shipping millions of quail eggs weekly to thousands of stores across Canada and the United States.

So, instead of getting political, we are focusing on what we can control to keep quail eggs affordable:

  • We’re working directly with our suppliers and distributors to find efficiencies without sacrificing quality.

  • We’re investing millions of dollars in our farm operations to continue keeping our quail happy and our processes efficient.

  • We’re absorbing as much of these added costs as possible so that you, the consumer, can continue to get quail eggs at an affordable price.

To me, this isn’t “just business."

Like I said, I love America and its people. I believe in the power of unity and know challenges like this one test the strength of our relationships. We’ll get through this together.

Thank you for your trust and your support. No matter what comes, we’re here for you.

God bless you, and God bless North America.
