Whether you share them with friends or just want to treat yourself to something special, these tasty and festive doughnuts are sure to be a hit!
Preheat oven to 350F.
Using cooking spray, grease doughnut mould and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, quail eggs, vanilla and melted butter.
Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients, folding in the dry mix just until combined. Do not over-mix.
Pour mixture into a piping bag and pipe into greased doughnut moulds.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the centre of the doughnuts
Allow doughnuts to cool before removing from the pan. Turn the pan upside down to remove doughnuts
In a small bowl mix sugar and cinnamon together.
Add doughnuts, one at a time, making sure to coat the doughnut evenly with the cinnamon sugar.
